Credits
Credits power your game creation experience on CodeWisp
How credits are used
Building a new game
Generating a new game from a prompt typically uses around 500–1,500 credits.
Editing with AI chat
Each AI edit prompt usually uses around 50–700 credits, depending on the change.
Actual cost depends on the AI model you pick (Fast, Standard, Best) and the size of the change. Faster models cost less; higher-quality models cost more.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the same prompt cost different amounts?
Credit cost scales with how much work the AI does for your prompt — bigger games and longer edits use more credits. Picking a faster model (Fast or Standard) lowers the cost per prompt; picking Best Quality raises it.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can still browse, remix, and play games. You won't be able to build or edit games with AI until your credits refresh (free tier) or your plan resets next month.
Do unused credits roll over?
No — credits reset each month so everyone starts fresh. Free-tier daily credits also reset every day at midnight UTC.
Can I earn extra credits?
