Credits
Credits power your game creation experience on CodeWisp
How credits are used
Building a new game
Generating a new game from a prompt typically uses around 500–1,500 credits.
Editing with AI chat
Each AI edit prompt usually uses around 50–700 credits, depending on the change.
Actual cost depends on the AI model you pick (Fast, Standard, Best Quality) and the size of the change. Faster models cost less; higher-quality models cost more.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the same prompt cost different amounts?
Credit cost scales with how much work the AI does for your prompt — bigger games and longer edits use more credits. Picking a faster model (Fast or Standard) lowers the cost per prompt; picking Best Quality raises it.
What if a build or edit breaks my game?
Error fixes are on us. Every paid build or edit includes a few free automatic error fixes for that project, so you never pay again for an error we introduced. If the free fixes run out, the Fix error button shows that further fixes use credits before you click.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can still browse, remix, and play games. To keep building with AI, earn bonus credits from daily quests or upgrade to a paid plan for a recurring monthly pool. (Paid plans reset at the start of each billing month.)
Do unused credits roll over?
Paid plan credits reset each month so you start fresh every billing cycle. Free credits are a one-time pool — top them up with bonus credits from quests.
Can I earn extra credits?
Yes! Complete daily and weekly quests for bonus credits, or refer a friend — you earn 4,000 credits when they subscribe to a paid plan. You can also buy one-time credit packs, or upgrade your plan for a bigger recurring monthly pool.
